Clinique Bois-Cerf

Your health, our commitment

The Bois-Cerf Clinic, a multidisciplinary acute-care hospital, is a member of the Hirslanden Private Clinic Group. The clinic unites individual centres of expertise with modern infrastructures and state-of-the-art medical disciplines. These centres promote close collaboration between our clinic's various specialists and provide global medical care with the focus as much on prevention as on postoperative care. The exacting professional and technical environment that they offer is your guarantee of one-to-one attention and top-quality care.

The Bois-Cerf Clinic offers a full range of services and is specialised in the field of orthopaedics and back surgery. Our surgeons have access to major technological resources and our orthopaedic and hand consultations, open to all, are available 48 hours a week and offer first-class care. We also play an important role in sports medicine with our Centre Actif+, a training and rehabilitation facility open to patients and public alike, and our Sportlab, where sporting and medical assessments are made during specialist consultations. Jointly with the Cecil Clinic, the Bois-Cerf Clinic also offers a consultation in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery. The aim of this is to enable you to access cosmetic surgery delivered with complete safety in a quality environment under the direction of experienced Swiss Medical Association plastic surgeons.

The provision of medical care in other areas is also of major importance to us. Our Multidisciplinary Obesity Centre, staffed by a team with expertise in a number of disciplines, offers specialist consultations for those who are overweight and/or have eating disorders. Our Ophthalmology Centre enables us to diagnose and treat eye disorders on an outpatient basis. Our ENT surgeons have access to an examination room at the clinic as well as to up-to-the-minute technology. A highly skilled medical team works in close liaison with specialists in internal medicine and is able to treat a wide range of conditions in this field. Last but not least, the only lithotripter of the latest generation in the Canton of Vaud provides truly effective treatment for kidney stones.

2003 saw a complete renovation of our infrastructure. A quiet, leafy garden, spacious, comfortable rooms and quality catering combine to make sure that you will enjoy your stay here. Since 2006, the cuisine we have been able to offer patients is the product of a cooperative arrangement between our own kitchen staff and Carlo Crisci, the star-crowned chef of "Le Cerf" restaurant in Cossonay. Close collaboration with the Cecil Clinic has enabled us to expand our range of provision to offer patients the highest level of service. In 2007 the two Lausanne clinics jointly achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification for their quality-management systems and ISO 13485:2003 for their medical equipment. Achieving certification to these internationally recognised management standards marks an important step for the two clinics, which have resolutely committed themselves to continuously improving the quality of care within their quality systems. The ultimate aim of both establishments is the safety and satisfaction of their clients.
